Interior decorator

An interior decorator is a professional who brings a space to life by playing with materials, colors, volumes, and atmospheres. Unlike an interior architect, they don't work on the structure or configuration of walls, but rather on everything related to atmosphere, aesthetics, and visual comfort.

I'm Lydwine Martin, founder of MAR Interior Design, an interior designer and traditional Feng Shui consultant. My profession as an interior designer enables me to accompany each customer in an in-depth reflection on their living environment, so that it becomes a faithful reflection of their desires, personality and energy.

More than just a makeover

he work of an interior decorator goes far beyond choosing cushions or curtains. It's about creating a coherent whole, tailor-made ambience, taking into account :

An approach enriched by Traditional Feng Shui

My specialty lies in the integration of Traditional Feng Shui into my interior design services. This enables me to go beyond appearance, by taking into account the energy circulating in the space, the areas of balance, and the way in which the space can support, or hinder, the well-being of its occupants.

In this way, each project is considered in its entirety: at the crossroads of interior design, interior decoration and energetic harmonization.

Between decorator, designer and interior architect

I'm not a state-registered interior architect, and I respect the limits of this regulated profession. However, as a decorator and interior designer, I work with the same high standards of coherence, attentiveness and rigor. I also coordinate the work, in liaison with the craftsmen, to ensure that it runs smoothly and is faithful to the defined project.
