Elegant Interlude

Design of a suite with a bathtub, conceived as an intimate retreat within an apartment intended for short-term rental near Marseille.

The objective of this project is to create a space with strong emotional value, capable of making an impression within the first few seconds. The bathtub is not treated as a simple functional feature, but as a central element of the experience: it structures the room, creates a moment of escape from everyday life, and gives the property a more memorable identity.

The layout explores the balance between comfort, sensuality, and clarity of use: a warm sleeping area, fluid circulation, an enveloping atmosphere, and decorative choices designed to enhance the desirability of the space without feeling artificial.

This project reflects MAR Interior Design’s approach: revealing the potential of a property, creating a coherent atmosphere, and transforming a space into a true living experience.
