Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an interior designer and a decorator?
The interior designer works on the overall organization of the space—circulation, volumes, layout—while the decorator focuses primarily on aesthetics and materials. My approach combines the two: I design the space as a whole and provide its aesthetic direction, relying on technical professionals for structural aspects when necessary.
Do you only operate in Marseille?
No. I work throughout the PACA region: Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Cassis, La Ciotat, Aubagne, and the Var department. For large-scale projects (Signature Transformation), I also work on the French Riviera, as far as Nice, Cannes, and Monaco. For projects even further afield, some of the monitoring can be done remotely, depending on the project phase.
What is the average timeframe for a complete project?
It depends on the nature and scope of the project. Interior design can be completed in a few weeks. A full Signature Transformation typically takes 2 to 8 months. An initial consultation will allow us to establish a realistic timeline.
Do you offer support for valuation prior to resale or rental?
Yes, it's one of my specialties. Whether it's optimizing a property for sale, creating a high-end Airbnb space, or reconfiguring a rental property, I bring a strategic vision focused on return on investment.
What happens during the initial contact?
You can contact me via the contact form or by phone. An initial consultation—usually 20 to 30 minutes, by phone or video conference—is free and without obligation. It allows me to better understand your project, your needs, and your objectives.
If your project falls within my scope of intervention, I then offer you an on-site consultation visit, billed separately, which allows me to analyze your property in depth and identify the initial directions of the project.
If we decide to continue working together, the cost of this visit will be deducted from my coaching fees.
How will I be kept informed about the progress of my project?
You’ll have access to a dedicated client portal where you can track your project’s progress at any time, review selections awaiting approval, and view your budget, quotes and orders. You’ll always know exactly where your project stands.
Do you offer Feng Shui analysis?
Yes. I offer, for clients who wish it, a traditional Feng Shui analysis: a complementary perspective on the flow of movement, orientation, and balance of the space. This service can be integrated into certain projects or performed independently.
